Device Characteristics The standard black body plate and the sample are placed on the hot plate one after the other, and the surface temperature of the hot plate is adjusted at a time to reach the set temperature; to determine the stability of the standard black body plate and the sample after coating the hot plate. The radiation intensity is calculated by calculating the ratio of the radiation intensity of the sample to a standard blackbody plate in order to obtain the emissivity of the sample in the far infrared range.
